Our Premises and Facilities

Overstone Park School is situated in the heart of the beautiful country park of Overstone, comprising over 340 acres of land, with a wealth of historical and educational heritage.

Combined with our own grounds with extensive playing fields, the School is in the perfect setting to facilitate the growth of all our pupils, educationally, socially and personally. The School is housed in a purpose built block with modern and spacious classrooms, each with its own character. Rugby, hockey, football playfields and acres and acres of grounds complete the picture.

Creche, Nursery and Pre-Preparatory Department

Both the Creche and Nursery department are contained within the main site of the school and are safely enclosed within two main rooms. Both rooms have connecting toilet facilities for pupils use,  with an additional space within the Creche area  for nappy changing. Within the Creche area, there is an open play area as well as as book corner and soft play areas. Individual Cots are provided for our babies and are enclosed within the creche room itself.

Each department is well equipped and well resourced. A variety of modern and traditional teaching aids ensure that our pupils have the correct tools to prepare them successfully in all subject areas.

The School Libraries

Within the school we have developed library areas for our two main departments of the Preparatory and High School. Within these two libraries, there are a wide selection of both fiction and non-fiction books for readers of all ages and abilities. Both libraries are set out to cater for the needs of our pupils curriculum development, with age and Key stage appropriate reading materials.

Pupils are encouraged to use the library as a quiet reading area. Books are catalogued using a colour code (one colour representing a reading age) enabling all pupils to be independent users of our libraries from an early age.
